EarthCoat was started in 2001 by John Alioto, a third generation San Francisco native who
made his living in the seafood industry as a fisherman and progressed
into distribution, processing, and sales & marketing.
With an increasing alarm on how pollution and
toxins are negatively affecting the marine
environment John became insistent on
addressing the concern and
identifying a solution.
The result was the
creation of EarthCoat.

our team is concentrated on environmentally
safe coating solutions. Combining capabilities in distribution
and development, we aim to deliver a range of products that solve
